7 Herts play areas for children to enjoy this summer

As the summer months roll in, children in Hertfordshire will be keen to get out of the house and enjoy a few hours in some quality play areas.

Parents might also be looking for a quiet moment, so we've compiled a list of some of the best play areas in the county for you and your child to enjoy.

Get Wild, an indoor jungle themed playground at The Galleria provides children between the ages of one and 12 with a thrilling environment to play in for an hour.

The play area has an assortment of slides, tunnels, rope walks, climbing frames and much more.

Fun and excitement is guaranteed in the safe play area, where children can crawl, run, swing, slide and climb.

White Lion Square play area is located in the heart of Hatfield Town Centre.

There are several pieces of equipment including a playhouse, a play panel, a fire engine, a play bridge, two table tennis tables, and four benches with tables.

Their specially designed soft play areas are not only designed for four to 12 year olds, but are also full scale for adults too.

It includes giant wave sides, aerial gliders, racetracks, an interactive ball zone, curly slides, tube slides, mirrors, biff bash bags, roller squeezers and lots more.

There is also a toddler zone for under fours, with games and activities to explore.

The Big Outdoors is the outdoor play area that includes paddle boats, sandpits and a great playhouse.
